Timothy Lee Prunick, 38, of Cottage Grove, was arrested Sunday on federal charges related to traveling interstate to have sex with a minor, FBI Special Agent Stephen Emmett said. Cottage Grove is eight miles southeast of Minneapolis-St. Paul.

Agents said Prunick made Internet contact with a person he thought was the girl's mother and arranged to meet Sunday night in Atlanta. However, Prunick was communicating with an undercover agent working with the FBI's Safe Child Task Force.
